Diane Firu, a consultant with EORM, Inc., in San Jose, CA, provides clients with EHS compliance and corporate sustainability support. She has experience in a variety of industries including electronics, semiconductor, photovoltaics, biotechnology, and agriculture. Diane is a leader in EORM\’s sustainability practice where she works on behalf of major multinational corporations to develop sustainability strategies through market assessments, stakeholder assessments, internal program audits and facilitated strategy sessions. Diane has written non-financial corporate reports based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework and developed a benchmarking methodology to qualitatively and quantitatively measure sustainability performance. Mr. McIntyre has thirty years of experience as an Environmental Health Safety and Sustainability professional supporting a range of process intensive industries. Following a decade of experience with Xerox Corporation’s Electronics Division and Hewlett Packard Company Component’s Group, he co-founded f Environmental and Occupational Risk Management, Inc. (EORM®) in 1990. Andy’s technical and management consulting experience has focused on assisting EORM’s clients in optimizing their environmental health and safety and sustainability initiatives. Project experience includes Design for Environmental Health and Safety, supporting management systems aspects to reduce operational risks in manufacturing and laboratory environments through the application of hazard analysis methodologies, developing and deploying a wide range of safety and industrial hygiene programs, specialty consulting support related to photovoltaic and light emitting diode manufacturing and leading a multitude of international supply chain risk assessments. Andy is the second recipient of Pacific Industrial Business Association (PIBA) Health and Safety Professional of the Year Award (1999). He was a member of the Semiconductor Environmental Health and Safety Association’s (SESHA) Board of Directors from 1989 to 1996, holding a series of leadership positions to include serving as President from 1995 to 1996. He received the Presidents’ Award in 1999 and was elected in 2001 as a Fellow by the Association. Over the last twenty five years, he has authored numerous articles and had the opportunity to present international conferences and symposiums in both North America and Asia. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California, Davis and a Masters Degree in Environmental and Occupational Health/Industrial Hygiene from California State University, Northridge.
