Integrated Disclosure Reporting – Best Practices for Aligning Cross-functional Data Management & Reporting Capabilities
With the rapid introduction of global reporting obligations such as the EU’s CSRD and U.S. California’s climate disclosure rule, organizations must enable integrated reporting capabilities across functions. Join the Benchmark Gensuite team to learn more about the emerging global reporting requirements and steps organizations can take to align cross-functional reporting processes and digital systems with integrated reporting driven by regulation and market forces. In this session, we will highlight reporting obligation specifics and digital solution best practices to connect operational data with the priority reporting schemes in the US, the EU, and other regions.
Key Practices for Very Large Construction Project Safety for 2024
January 10, 2024 - Construction safety has been a challenge across industry sectors, project types, and geographies for as long as organized construction activity has existed. As we move into 2024 and beyond, it is worthwhile for organizations to consider the health and safety challenges that very large projects pose. This session will cover three aspects of the topic; from the challenges that very large projects pose; to the interplay of roles at the project, site and corporate levels; and the relationship between the human element and new technologies. Participants will explore the basic success factors for large construction projects, the common challenges faces on very large and “jumbo” projects, and will hear strategies to understand and control risks on these projects. The presentation will focus on the big picture for project success and will highlight several very pressing issues, including; special consideration for roles and communication on very large projects, how to deploy technology to streamline and bolster site safety, and the all-important human element for site safety. This session isn’t about one particular solution, technology, or approach; rather it is an exploration of key considerations relevant in 2024 to bring vital factors together and to appropriately consider the human element of project success.
