Department Of Transportation (DOT) requires employees involved in shipping or receiving hazardous materials or waste receive HM-126F training initially and every 3 years thereafter. This course will cover the following topics: Regulation overview (DOT and IATA), Hazmat Table, Packaging, Marking, Shipping paper, Hazmat security, and emergency procedures. The course will be taught by Jay Jamali, CSP, CHMM, CHCM, EHS Director for Enviro Safetech who has over 20 years of experience and has provided DOT training to over 500 students. This is an 8 hour class.
