LoginThis presentation will show current best practices in the management of E-scrap (electronic scrap and manufacturing byproducts containing precious metals and other recoverable materials). The presentation will address collection and transport of scrap materials from worldwide operations including transport through international boundaries to final processing centers. Security issues, types of materials, different recovery methods and risks will be discussed with reference to the United Nations 2009 Programme regarding management of electronic wastes.
