For decades, SESHA members have been focused on managing environmental, safety and health (ESH) issues in the semiconductor industry. More recently, sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility have risen on the agenda of semiconductor manufacturers, their customers and suppliers. Why have these topics increased in importance and what can a company do to address them? Air Products will share how it has built its sustainability program on its strong ESH foundation. Areas that will be covered include macro trends driving sustainability, managing stakeholder expectations, programs to embed sustainability into work processes, effective measurement, and public reporting. Air Products will also share how these initiatives support the company’s core purpose of making the world more productive, energy efficient and sustainable.
