Under the current business climate, how can Ergonomists protect the worker while still protecting bottom line? Corporations often struggle with ergonomic interventions because they fail to demonstrate the value of ergonomic solutions and do not make ergonomics part of a continuous improvement process. Making a business case for ergonomics requires demonstrating return on investment and utilizing effective tools to track, prioritize, and quantify risk. The presentation will help identify these tools as well as cover emerging trends in ergonomics that could impact long-term program success, including Aging Workforce, Home Offices, Web-based Assessments, and Sustainability. The presentation will focus on issues and case studies relevant to semiconductor manufacturing, based on Bureau Veritas’ years of experience providing EH&S consulting services to large clients within the industry.
