The semiconductor industry has been operating over the last few years in a “paradigm of scarcity” where there is less resources, less funding, and less opportunities, for EHS professionals. This situation causes organizations and the people who work in those organizations to behave in a certain ways, and it’s important to recognize and adjust to these behaviors to be more successful as an ehs professional. This presentation will cover how to recognize when you, your colleagues or your organization are operating in a scarcity paradigm; and what actions you need to take to influence others and maximize your chances for success.
