Basil Falcone

Intel Senior Environmental Engineer, Intel, Santa Clara

Basil Falcone is the Founder and President of EnviroNova. Mr. Falcone has over 17 years of experience directing environmental safety and compliance programs for top-tier commercial, industrial and government clients. During that time, he has led more than 4000 environmental safety projects and programs with particular expertise in facility closure, hazardous materials management, environmental health and safety program design, asbestos and lead abatement, mold remediation, and regulatory compliance programs. Mr. Falcone served as co-chair of a working group of Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), providing leadership on the development of new chemical regulations and co-authoring the worldwide (PFOS) voluntary agreement to the World Semiconductor Council and all its members. He has worked successfully with all regulatory bodies in the United States, Europe and United Nations, and is a frequent presenter at national and international industry conferences. Currently Mr. Falcone has been responsible for the environmental oversight for the Closure of the Intel D2 Wafer Fabrication Facility located in Santa Clara, California. Mr. Falcone holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dominican University and a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco. He is a Registered Environmental Assessor for the state of California, and a Certified Asbestos Consultant.
