The purpose of this paper is to discuss the flow restrictor orifice, its background, design, capabilities, and use in the semiconductor industry. The primary focus will be to make the reader more knowledgeable of the flow restrictor orifice and its applications when dealing with compressed gas cylinders. Recommendations/conclusions for the future use of the flow restrictor orifice will also be explored.
