2018 NFPA 79 General Overview and Applicability

The 2018 NFPA 79, Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery, has a great amount of detail and can be applied to a large number of electrical systems. Based on my experience and working knowledge of the standard, this standard offers exceptional requirements to the build, design, and operation of industrial machines. I will discuss the standard layout in general and the applicability of the requirements.
