The safety, mobility, and sustainability opportunities of autonomous vehicles

Abstract:
This presentation will introduce the range of benefits offered by autonomous vehicles (AVs) to enhance road safety, increase mobility for the elderly, disabled, and children, and help protect our planet. An overview of Zoox, a stealth Silicon Valley startup, will provide insight into the technology innovations underway to achieve these societal benefits. Zoox driving operations for development, testing, and deployment will be described to highlight the foundational role that safety plays throughout the company’s activities.
