In this talk we will look at highlights of both the current 2000 version of the NFPA 318 Standard for the Protection of Cleanrooms and the major changes coming in the 2002 version. We will also consider how 318 will relate to the NFPA 1 Fire Prevention Code and the proposed new NFPA 5000 Building Code. This session should be a useful adjunct to the Code Roundtable also on the conference program.
