This presentation will focus on practical approaches that can be taken to complete hazardous materials declarations, and customer questionnaires. Specifically, it will talk about the need to develop written procedures that describe a process to complete these tasks. It will discuss the advantages of ultimately getting to the product design level, and what to do in the interim period. It is at this level that companies can ultimately exercise control of the chemical constituents of their products. Examples of matrices that assist this procedure will be given.
