The application and use of nanotechnology is rapidly expanding across all industries globally. Industries currently exploring nanotechnology include semiconductors, biopharmaceutical and electronics. The EHS community and regulators have yet to address all of the health and safety implications associated with the industrial use of nanomaterials. This presentation will provide an update on: • Industrial hygiene measurement and evaluation • Advancements in personal protective equipment • On-going research • Regulatory direction
