Product Stewardship is focused on managing the potential risks of products to customers, employees, the public and the environment. At Air Products, these risks are identified and controlled through a series of management practices for experimental and commercial products. The presentation will examine these practices, including an overview of the APCI product stewardship process, which encompasses customer interaction, new product introduction, and risk management of commercial products. Risk management tools to be discussed include hazard characterization, toxicological hazard assessment, and product risk characterization.
