Reducing Electronic Waste in the Medical Device Industry

As the WEEE Directive approaches total enforcement, the medical device industry will also be affected. The review of one medical device company provides an insight on how this can be done. Through Pacemaker Inc have come many advances in reducing the electrical waste from medical devices such as pacemakers. The areas of concentration are recovery/recycling, improving design, restructure of corporate flow charts.
