This presentation will demonstrate the depth and flexibility of the 2010 Family of Codes, that now includes New and Special Occupancies. The New L(Laboratory) Occupancy will be discussed. This new occupancy will give business more options in the execution of Research and Development Facilities. This New L Occupancy was adopted into Law in California and will be submitted into the International Codes for the rest of the Nation. The Codes also have a performance option which will enable creative ways to safely conduct Business.We will feature examples of Code Issues with Creative solutions and encourage open discussion.
