Jack Welsch

Jack Welsch is a senior EHS policy and regulatory consultant and licensed attorney with fifteen years professional experience in tracking international environmental regulations and regulatory trends. Based in Washington DC, he is the Manager of US Operations for Enhesa Inc, an international EHS policy and regulatory consulting group providing services to global business. He coordinates the work of Enhesa’s team of US-based consultants for global customers as well as manages Enhesa global EHS regulatory monitoring service, directing Enhesa consultants based in the US, Europe and in the Asia-Pacific region. In this capacity, he advises and assists companies operating around the world in all aspects of international environmental and occupational safety and health (EHS) compliance, both with respect to industrial and commercial activities, and to the products they place on international markets. Mr. Welsh’s experience includes two years based in Belgium at Enhesa’s headquarters. He has performed and led numerous consulting assignments, including forecasting and analysis of regulatory and policy change, strategy and management of extended producer responsibility obligations for global markets, compliance audits, environmental permitting support, and management and organizational studies for clients around the globe, including throughout Europe and the Middle East, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific-Oceania region. Prior to joining Enhesa, he served as an Enforcement Specialist with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. He received his JD and his Masters degree in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, as well as a BS degree in Environmental Biology from Ohio University.
