Managing Consultant, Ergonomics Engineer, Humantech, Ann Arbor, MI and SolarWorld Industries, Hillsboro, OR

Jeff Sanford, CPE, Managing Consultant and Ergonomics Engineer for Humantech, is responsible for developing and managing consultant activities, including coordinating project schedules and managing consultant recruiting, training, and continuous improvement. In addition, Jeff delivers multiple-day ergonomics training sessions for supervisors, health and safety representatives, engineers, and ergonomics committees. He also has large-project client management responsibilities. Prior to joining Humantech, Jeff worked as a Divisional Ergonomics Engineer within the Seating Systems Division of Lear Corporation, where he managed ergonomic issues at nine U.S. facilities; he also worked in the Advanced Manufacturing Ergonomics group at DaimlerChrysler headquarters as a New Programs Ergonomist, managing upstream ergonomic issues. Jeff received a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree and a Master of Human Kinetics degree from the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario. He has also achieved recognition as a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). Bryan Trotter, CHMM, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager for SolarWorld Industries America is responsible for managing all aspects of the facility HSE management system, directing activities of the HSE department, and driving safety and environmental continuous improvement. Bryan has been with SolarWorld since the start of activities in Hillsboro and oversaw a rapid construction and facility startup, HSE roadmap development and implementation, and evolution of the safety management process.
