Mark Fessler
Mark completed both his Bachelor’s and his Masters of Science and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, and was previously employed at Tokyo Electron (TEL) for over 20 years as a distinguished Member of Technical Staff. For last 3.5 years, Mark has been leading ASM’s Global Product Safety Engineering Organization (i.e. USA, Netherlands, Japan, Korea and Singapore) working to establish ASM as a semiconductor industry leader in Product Safety Engineering Design, focusing on detailed design reviews and risk assessments, creating new engineering design guidelines, and providing custom training to ASM design engineers. Mark has also been an active member in SEMI standards over last 25 years, and currently the Co-Chair for both the SEMI S10 Risk Assessment Task Force and the SEMI S2 – LOTO Task Force. Finally, Mark is also a proud member of the SESHA Board of Directors, and lives here locally in Phoenix, AZ.
