Ron Scholtz – SESHA Fellow

Ron Scholtz (Analog Devices, Inc.) is the Environmental/Safety Manager for Analog Devices’ semiconductor manufacturing operations located in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale, CA. He has over twenty years of experience in dealing with environmental and safety issues in the semiconductor industry. Ron started his career conducting air and water emissions monitoring at various industrial sites throughout the U.S. He then worked in the Environmental Affairs Department at Signetics in Sunnyvale, CA prior to working for ADI.

Ron received his BS degree in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He has a MS degree in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco. While at Cal Poly, he was the External Affairs Officer for the Associated Students, Inc. and also served as the President of the Interfraternity Council.

Ron is an active member of the Semiconductor Environmental Health and Safety Association (SESHA) where he was recently elected to Fellow status within the organization. He is a past member of the SESHA Board of Directors and is currently serving as the SESHA Academic Committee Chair. Ron is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (Master’s Level) and a Registered Environmental Assessor (REA) in the State of California. (May 2005)
