Health concerns surface in the 1980s for the semiconductor industry, from individual company studies to the major cooperative Worker Health Study by SIA regarding reproductive outcomes. In the following decade, process changes occurred and additional anecdotal reports of sensitivity and carcinogenicity have occurred. Now the industry is calling for additional studies. This presentation will review the past studies and where the health roadmap goes from here.
