Freescale and other companies with Corporate Reclaim Programs approach the management of their respective programs with high levels of corporate support. These companies benchmark the processing of e-scrap materials to utilize the best downstream methods to assure environmental stewardship and optimal financial returns. Freescale and others differ somewhat in certain approaches based on their corporate structure and respective product lines. Their approach to risk analysis decisions for control of materials also differs slightly. These differences will be presented and examples provided.
