As health care costs continue to rise for employers, how can companies engage their employees to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviors? Intel has provided various health, safety and wellness programs in the past. But in 2006, employee participation was given a boost with the addition of a personal coaching program. This was made possible by convincing senior management the value of encouraging employee participation as a means to reduce health care costs in the future.
