Drawing back the curtain on Laser Safety

With the introduction of Class 3B and Class 4 systems and products, the implementation of a Laser Safety Program has become an integral part of any facilities safety program and culture. This webinar will focus on several topics including the essential elements of a laser safety program, as well as reviewing a number of common misconceptions to what controls are really needed and suggested steps that can be taken to prevent laser incidents.

Has authored several articles on laser safety for Photonics Spectra, laser safety advisor for LIGO, ELI Beamlines, Allen Institute and Newport Corp. Presently consulting under the title Laser Safety Solutions.
