Mary Majors – SESHA Fellow

Mary Majors is a Senior Principal Safety Specialist in the Product Safety department of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Her main focus is in the areas of regulatory compliance, risk assessment and product stewardship. She has over twenty years of experience in the chemical industry in both commercial and EH&S; functions.

Since her association with the semiconductor industry, Mary has been involved in various industry working groups and collaborations. These include development of the ISMI / WSC Chemical Properties Information Form, various REACH related efforts, and progression of the EHS chapter of several ITRS updates. She has also presented at various industry meetings and conferences on product stewardship, global chemical control regulations, risk assessment of chemical products and EHS aspects of nanotechnology.

Mary has been active in SESHA activities since beginning the beginning of her career in EHS (when SESHA was SSA, which gives you a hint on how long ago that was). Mary is a frequent presenter at the annual SESHA symposium, is a former member of the SESHA Board of Directors, and is currently editor of the SESHA eJournal.
